My Top 5 Fav Movies Based On Sports


5.  JO JEETA WOHI SIKANDAR

Starring : Aamir Khan, Ayesha Jhulka
Synopsis:
               
"Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar" is a 1992 Bollywood sports drama film. The film won the Filmfare award for best movie that year. The story unfolds as, A rich ill-behaved boy and a poor boy try to woo a girl, with their rivalry culminating in the most prestigious college event - the marathon cycle race.





4.  BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG



Starring : Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor.
Synopsis:
"Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" is a 2013 Indian biographical sports drama film based on the true story of "Flying Sikh" - world champion runner and Olympian Milkha Singh who overcame the massacre of his family, civil war during the India-Pakistan partition, and homelessness to become one of India's most iconic athletes.

3.  AS ONE

Starring : Ha Ji-Won, Bae Doona.  
Synopsis:
"As One" is a 2012 South Korean sports drama film . It is a cinematic retelling of the true story of the first ever united South and North Korean table tennis team that competed at the 1991 World Table Tennis Championships in Chiba, Japan.

2.  CHAK DE! INDIA

Starring : Shah Rukh Khan 
Synopsis: 
"Chak De! India" is a 2007 Indian sports drama film about hockey, about women's hockey . Chak De India is the story of Kabir Khan, a coach's fight of making his team. Kabir Khan, the former captain of the Indian hockey team .He has now come back as the Coach of the Indian Women's National Hockey team. He teaches the team to overcome their diverse backgrounds, by learning to use everything that life hurls on them as a secret weapon.

1.  NO BREATHING



Starring : Seo In-Guk,Lee Jong-Suk, Kwon Yuri. 
Synopsis:
Two very different restless youths join a swimming competition for love and friendship which is, in fact, a rite of passage to growing up.The music's pretty good. I liked the girl band, and I also liked the general uplifting sports movie. It is a movie about swimming, and it does have a very good-looking cast, so I'm sure "NO-BREATHING" will appeal to someone out there. Just not me.
